The Management Board of EPOMEA Greece and the family of EPOMEA members nationwide whould like to congratulate EPOMEA Larissa for their selfless actions during the medical care they provided for the half - marathon race of Tirnavos - Larissa. The race was halted when a 40 year old contestant, male, collapsed due to heart failure. The members of EPOMEA rushed to his rescue, leaded by the Head nurse of Orthopedic Clinic of General Hospital Mrs Vasiliki Litsiouli. After performing CPR and after the use of defibrillators, he was rushed to the hospital where his condition was stabilized. The members acted according to what they are trained for: to save human lives.
