Οn Sunday11/2 a charity swimming competition was performed withing the context of the event "Swimming for others" that was organized by "The Extra Mile" at the municipal pool "IASON ZIRGANOS". All profits will be donated for the reconstruction of a theme park at the "Kivotos tou kosmou" foundation. EPOMEA Volos was present , providing first aid and their services wherever it was necessary.

On Saturday 10/2/2018 at 6p.m. a most interesting educational programm was held at the offices of EPOMEA Volos in context of the panhellenic educational program that will be held for all EPOMEA teams of Greece on the subject of "Earthquackes and Civil Protection" with rapporteur Mr Kokolakis Konstantinos, former Head of decentralized command of Macedonia and Thrace. EPOMEA Volos was honoured with the presence of the Volos' Fire Brigade officer Mr Sakelariou.

Υγειονομική κάλυψη της ΕΠ.ΟΜ.Ε.Α. Θεσσαλονίκης στον αγώνα ορεινής ποδηλασίας και τρεξίματος που διοργανώνει το ''Τμήμα ποδηλασίας'' του ΠΑΟΚ. Στόχος της διοργάνωσης είναι να δώσει την δυνατότητα σε δρομείς και ποδηλάτες να αγωνιστούν και να χαρούν τη συμμετοχή, να έλθουν σε επαφή με τη φύση και τις όμορφες διαδρομές της περιοχής και να δοκιμάσουν τις αντοχές και τις δυνάμεις τους, σε ένα ασφαλές και οργανωμένο περιβάλλον. Oι εθελοντές έδωσαν δυναμικό παρόν, παρέχοντας βοήθεια σε οποιονδήποτε το χρειαζόταν.

The second training cycle on cardiopulmonary resuscitation with the use of external defibrilator came to its successful end for the 6th recruit group of EPOMEA's volunteers.
The trainees followed step by step the instructions and actions that need to be executed during the occurance of cardiac arrest.
