Elite Special Task Force (EPOMEA) of Thessaloniki honoured the National Celebration of March 25th. Volunteers participated in the parade, paying their respect to the fallen heroes of the Greek Revolution.

Our newest recruits had their first aquaintance with the tools and components of a fire engine during yesteday's class.

Οn Thursday, EPOMEA's volunteers of teams Thessaloniki, Pavlos Melas, Sintiki, and Kilkis gathered in the teaching halls to attend an educative seminar held by Dr Aspasia Karamanou on the subject of " Psychological Support to victims, in the aftermath of a humanitarian crisis or a catastrophic event".

Volunteers of EPOMEA Thessaloniki have successfully passed the exams for the BLS/AED certification.

In a friendly and pleasant atmosphere the cutting of the annual New Year's cake was celebrated for EPOMEA Larissa.

On March 15th, 2017 in Vathi Samos the Operational Field Exercise for earthquake preparedness "Eupalinos 2017" was held in the context of strengthening the operational capacity of local structures. The scenario envisaged incidents in various parts of the east side of the island. EPOMEA members of Ikaria actively participated in the exercise, by collaborating perfectly with the Government and regional structures of Civil Protection.

An educational seminar was held on the subject of «Basic First Aid». Basic lecturer of the seminar was General Secretary of EPOMEA Greece and orthopedic surgeon Mr Mousidis Grigorios, and supporting members Mrs Neldekou Vasiliki and Arambatzis Thomas.
